You may recognize Gloria because this is not the first time that I've photographed her. Not only have in known her since she was little, I've also had the honor and privilege of photographing her and her family since the inception of Stephane Mare Imagery. She has also been a member of my ambassador team, the Mavens, traveling on-location on several occasions. This sweet, silly, and amazing girl has grown into a beautiful young lady right in front of my camera. Working with repeat clients its the ultimate complement and seeing them again is such a reward. Gloria's graduation date moved up a little earlier than previously expected. So when she reached out, of course I couldn't wait to plan her senior session!!
Gloria really wanted to remain true to her and her style while documenting this time in her life. Her only request was, "Can I keep this relaxed and casual? Now, don't get me wrong, I love fashion and getting dressed up. Give me a girl, a dress, and a field and please believe I'm gonna have her running in it. However, I've connected with plenty of young adults who aren't looking for a photo shoot filled with fancy extras. They simply want to be them as they are, authentically so and I'm here for it.
Over these last 6 years, I have photographed Gloria in so many locations around the triangle. It was time to do a bit of scouting to find something fun and unique. I had visited this area before and thought that it would the perfect, clean backdrop for her first stop during her senior session. I love the light, color tones, and variable elevations to play with. I can definitely see myself visiting again. It would an awesome location for Senior Guys too!

Some images from over the years.
We have had a lot of fun trying creative concepts and even a couple beach sessions.

For our next stop, we visited one of my favorite spots to see the view of the downtown Raleigh skyline. I love when the sun is just getting ready to set behind the buildings and the clouds reflect in the large windows. Here, Gloria incorporated her love of reading and brought some books with her. Making for a fun and unique way to add some of the things she enjoys to her session. We finished her senior photos here but thankfully we plan to meet up again soon for her Cap & Gown session!!
