1. JC Raulston Arboretum | West Raleigh
This place is an absolute gem for photos. With tons of different garden areas, you get so much variety without even leaving the location. One minute you're in front of colorful flowers, the next you're on a brick pathway surrounded by greenery, and then boom—architectural features and unique structures that add something special to your shots.
What I love about the arboretum is how it works for any vibe. Want something soft and romantic? Got it. Something more editorial and fashion-forward? Yep, we can do that too. The seasonal changes here are insane—spring brings all the blooms, summer is lush and green, fall has those warm golden tones, and even winter has this quiet, elegant feel.

2. Historic Yates Mill | Southeast Raleigh
Yates Mill is one of those locations that feels like you've stepped back in time. The greenways that connect throughout Raleigh are also incredible for creating that fresh, outdoorsy aesthetic without feeling too "deep in the woods."
